On the afternoon of April 27, the inaugural meeting of the branch of school of pharmacy of lanzhou university alumni association was held in the lecture hall of Yifu science museum, in west district of Chengguan campus. Xingyi Jin (Director of Gansu YuanFang Charity Foundation), Yongxin Jin ( Vice President of the Second People's Hospital of Gansu Province), Guiyuan Yang (Chairman of Gansu Zhirentongji Health Industry Holding Group co., LTD.), Pingrong Yang ( Institute of Gansu Province Drug Inspection) and more than 80 alumni representatives from all over the country gathered to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Lanzhou university. Baojun Fan (Vice President of Lanzhou University), Jinbo Qi (Deputy Director of the Office of the Alumni General Office) and the leadership of the School of Pharmacy attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Jiazhong Li (Vice President of the School of Pharmacy).

      Before the meeting, video of the graduation group photo of students from the school of pharmacy from 1971 to 2014 was played. With the presentation of precious photos, the inaugural meeting of the school of pharmacy branch of Lanzhou university alumni association was officially opened.

      Jinbo Qi read out the approval of approval of the college of pharmacy branch of Lanzhou university alumni association for the record. The assembly read out and voted to approve the candidate for the branch council of the school of pharmacy. Executive vice president Guiyuan Yang on behalf of the council of alumni chapter, said that all members of the council will earnestly fulfill their duties to promote the connection between alumni and Lanzhou university and give full play to the role of alumni association in the development of our university.

      Yingqian Liu expressed his heartfelt thanks to all sectors of society and alumni who have cared for and supported the development of school of pharmacy for many years. He said that the school will continue to inherit the spirit of several generations of pharmacy personnel to root in the west, stick to the struggle, explore the source of drugs, and build our school into a research-oriented and internationalized first-class pharmaceutical discipline with regional characteristics. On behalf of school of pharmacy, Wengui Wang (Party Secretary of the School of Pharmacy) read out the "announcement on the 60th anniversary of the school of pharmacy of Lanzhou university", sincerely inviting guests and friends from all over the world, alumni at home and abroad, as well as teachers and students of the school to join the ceremony.

      Baojun Fan expressed warm congratulations for the establishing of alumni association of school of pharmacy, and then awarded flags and plates.

      After the founding meeting, the participants divided into two groups to have a heated discussion on the plan of 60th anniversary and the development of school of pharmacy, and put forward their opinions and suggestions.
